Currently, there is no air, train, or bus service between Raleigh, Rocky Mount, or Elizabeth City, North Carolina and the Outer Banks. The easiest (and cheapest) route is through Norfolk, Virginia.

- Book your reservation as far in advance as possible.

- We require a contact number where we can leave you a message (answering machine, voice mail, the hotel, e-mail, etc.) or let us know when you are calling back. Our reservation office is not staffed around the clock, but we can retrieve messages. We are on Eastern Standard Time (EST) and can be reached 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, 7 days a week. After 8 p.m., please leave a message and number and we will contact you the next morning.

- TIPS FOR TRAVEL from Another Country to the OUTER BANKS (OBX)

- Have a reserved room or a street address of where you will be spending your first night on the Outer Banks. You may encounter unexpected delays and cancellations in transit that cause you to arrive on the Outer Banks later than planned.

- If you are from another country, we recommend that you buy a phone card as soon as you reach the states. They are available in vending machines, convenience stores, airports, etc. We are a discount service and we do not have a toll-free number. We are based on the Outer Banks which is two hours away from Norfolk. If you have any delays or anticipated delays, please call The Connection and leave a message. We will try to accommodate changes as much as possible.
